This retail property overlooking Ramsgate’s inner harbour comprises a large ground floor shop unit and upper parts over three floors.

Recognising the improving nature of the location the property was acquired.

The retail unit was comprehensively refurbished and let to a local wine bar operator.

Planning approval was obtained for the separation of the upper floors from the retail unit and their conversion to three modern open plan flats overlooking the harbour with separate access to the rear.

Georgian Housing, Bognor Regis

Ash Corporate Finance led the re-development of a major site in Bognor Regis, taking a 50% share of the development in conjunction with Hesketh Homes.

Prior to acquisition the existing Grade II Listed buildings had been student residences and were in poor condition.

Planning permission was obtained to change the use of the buildings back to residential and to convert the main block into 23 flats, a cottage into two smaller residential units and three houses into a mixture of flats and semi-detached residences.

At the rear of the existing buildings permission was sought and granted for the erection of a terrace of seven town houses in a Georgian style reflecting the period of the other buildings on the site.

Ash Corporate Finance acted as Project Manager and arranged the finance for the development. Architectural services were provided by Ash Design.

Borough Green, Kent

This residential development comprises 9 town houses on a prominent site in central Borough Green.

Acquired in a Joint Venture the property comprised a Builders Merchant and Builders Yard on a site approaching 0.3 acres in the centre of the village. Following extensive discussions with adjoining occupiers and owners detailed planning approval was obtained and works undertaken.

Land Group provided architectural services in house.

Finance for the scheme was arranged by Ash Corporate Finance with Clydesdale Bank.



Paragon St, Ramsgate

This seafront residential property overlooking the historic port of Ramsgate comprises a Grade 2 Listed building split into 5 Units.
