St James Square, London

This property comprises a Grade I star Listed office building in a prominent location on St James Square together with a six-storey office building fronting Duke Street.

Owned by Clerical Medical the offices required comprehensive refurbishment in order to bring the space up to modern standards.

Managing the Client’s professional team Neilson Project Services put together a detailed project specification, oversaw a detailed tender, selected and appointed a contractor and supervised the works.

This £7m refurbishment was completed on time and budget in 10 months.

Lovat Lane, London

The 2,500 sq ft development comprises three grade-II listed buildings, located within the Lovat Lane Conservation Area. It is located in a pedestrian alley within the traditional City of London.

The property itself is a reconstructed terraced period building. Office space is split between the basement, ground and three upper floors, the top floor being housed within the roof space. A three person lift facilitates access to all floors.

The property is held as a freehold interest. Finance for the scheme has been arranged by Ash Corporate Finance with the Allied Irish Bank.

The building serves as the headquarters of the Land Group.

 

Shelley House, London

This office scheme encompassed the redevelopment of an existing 1960’s office building on a prominent corner site in the heart of the City of London.

The redevelopment, which was undertaken over a period of 2 years, comprises 110,000 sqft of high quality office accommodation over 9 floors, together with basement storage and car parking.
Owned by Royal London Insurance, Neilson Project Services acted as Development Manager for the scheme a role that included the following duties:

Cambridge Science Park

This project comprises the development of two detached office / laboratory buildings extending to a total of 80,000 sq. ft.

The properties are on ground and two upper floors. Built to an exacting modern standard including full air-conditioning, raised floors, complex specification of M&E fit-out phase and extensive car parking. Specialist Laboratory use was also reflected within the designs.

The £8m construction contract took approximately 18 months to complete in two overlapping phases.

The Land Group acted as Project Manager for the scheme which was undertaken by Insight Investment.
